Today was a very fun day. Shivagami is the little girl in one of my early photos from 1967 whom I'm holding on my hip in the photo. Today we were joking about me trying to put her on my hip again.
Her parents Neela and Natassen were two of my favorite adults when I was living in this village. They loved each other and played with their children in a very wonderful way.
I wasn't sure if it would be possible for Neela to get her daughter Sivagami to come to Gallatipett for a few days, as she and her family live over 89 Kilometers away...but Sivagami and her children came to the village to see me. What a gift!!! Another god-gifted day.
