Andrew's family

Southport is where Andrew grew up. His parents, (Alan and Pat), his brother, Stephen, and his grandmother (father's mother - Nan) all still live in this city.

We have had days of chatting, eating Pat's wonderful vegan food, visiting with Stephen and with Nan, and walking and touring around to see some of Andrew's old stomping grounds, and playing a new board game.

During the spring and summer, the city is known for it's flowers. This time of year the city is festive with Christmas activities and decorations everywhere. Alan, Pat and Stephen left this morning to go on a holiday tour in central England. This is a tradition for them, and they look forward to it every year. We will meet them on Christmas day.

Hi Sara!

Zena Corby here, sitting at the office and enjoying your marvelous blog in the last few minutes before going off to start Christmas Eve with my family. It is so cool to be able to see your thoughts and images as you travel. I send you my warm holiday greetings.

Hi Sara, you look quite British, especially in the picture in the park. What about your English Christmas? Why don't we plan an Italian Christmas next year? Say hi to Lisa and Andrew (BTW, his movies website is great)
and Merry Christmas!
I'll see you on Jan 24th.

You did such a great job blogging, mom! Maybe you should start a new blog for when you're in Santa Cruz? ;-)
