Bruce and I are staying at the Center Guest House, and the accomodations and food are comfortable and beautiful. This banyon tree is the focal point at the entry to the house and also just outside of the dining area.
The banyon tree has been quite a special treat to be around and under. The areas of the branches that are hanging out wide, end up having this tenacles hang down and when they touch the ground, they grow wide and strong and become supports to the outer branches.
One thought I've had while being next to this tree is about the relationship between trunks, branches, leaves and roots...In this case it feels like you can see them all...and I feel connected to this process of having roots, and branches, and leaves. I really love being under this tree.
