This was such a fun day...My neice Amey, knows how much I love the idea of the Amazing Race, and she had been here to Pondicherry a year or so ago, and knew about this elephant giving blessings in front of the temple.
Amey emailed me when I was in Kerala, and gave me this task...(just like in the Amazing Race). I had to find my way to the allys of the Ganesh Temple in Pondicherry and get blessed by the baby elephant.
I did it! it was really fun to look into the mouth of this elephant. I stayed for a while and watched others receive blessings also..Men, women and children, all seemed to find this a special treat.
Thank you Amey... any other tasks???

Are you going to Chennai at all?
If you are going to Chennai, you should go to the Tamil "Bollywood." You can go to the main film studio, sign the guest book & then walk around and watch them film - all for free! So you should go, sign the guest book, and see part of a film or a movie set. Try that!
